How to filter your feedback and survey results correctly
Our support team is often asked the question, “How do I filter my results according to certain criteria?” These questions often go into detail: “All I need to see right now are the results from female participants.” We have a solution for that – a filter tool that allows you to sort your results according to your needs. I’d like to show you three different approaches to filtering your results:

Filter your answers on your Dashboard
In order to filter your data correctly, you’ll have to choose the respective question type. Keeping with the example used above, a question asking the participant’s gender leaves you with two possible answers (male & female), so choose single choice as your question type! Now all you have to do is ask!
As soon as you receive an answer to this question, you’ll see the results pop up on your Feedbackstr Dashboard.bThe results can be filtered and evaluated as you see fit. To do so, all you have to do is scroll down to your “Overall Evaluation” and click on the button labeled “Search for specific answers.” Now click on the question you would like to filter, check the box next to “female,” and then click on the “Apply filter” button. Ta-Da! Your results have been filtered for you, giving you instant access to the results from female participants only.
2. Filter to concentrate on individual feedback
You’re interested in seeing the answers of one specific person? Go to your bar graph and click on the date the participant in question submitted their feedback on. Now you’ll be presented a list showing you all of the results that were submitted on that date.
Click on the set of information that is important to you. Now you’ll be able to see all of the answers that specific person submitted.
3. Using Excel to filter your results
Premium package users can easily export their survey results as a CSV or Excel document. All you have to do is click on the “Export” function (top right) and choose the desired format from the drop-down menu. A dialogue box will pop up, asking if you would like to open or save the document in Excel, for example. Use the desired program to sort and filter your results according to your needs.
